Testing emergency notification equipment in the district on Monday, October 13th during holiday break.

Posted Date: 10/10/25 (10:16 AM)

The district is taking advantage of the lack of students and staff on this Monday's Columbus Day holiday to test emergency notification equipment inside the Middle/High and Elementary Buildings.  Residents near the district might see strobe lights going off at the district,  or hear some notification sounds from the buildings while we make sure our equipment is operating exactly as it is designed to.  The district will be in touch with local authorities to let them know of the testing.  Additionally,  representatives from Johnson Controls and Rel Comm – Telecom & Emergency Alert Systems will be present on the grounds to help facilitate the testing.  This work is in accordance with the district's mission statement which states that we always strive to provide "...a structured, safe and caring environment" for our students and staff.
